Governor Wavinya Ndeti Receives Advanced Laparoscopic Machine to Boost Healthcare at Machakos Level V Hospital

Wavinya Ndeti has received a major boost for healthcare services in the county after a state-of-the-art laparoscopic tower machine was donated to Machakos Level 5 Hospital.

The modern medical equipment was donated by the Bhagwanji Raja Charitable Foundation in partnership with OTPAK and was officially handed over to the county government at the hospital’s compound in Machakos.

Receiving the advanced machine, Governor Wavinya Ndeti expressed profound gratitude to the donors for supporting the county’s efforts to strengthen healthcare services. She noted that the new laparoscopic tower will significantly enhance the hospital’s surgical capacity by enabling minimally invasive procedures, improving patient outcomes and reducing recovery time for residents.

The governor emphasized that her administration remains committed to building partnerships with well-wishers, organizations and development partners to transform the health sector in Machakos County.

“This donation is a clear demonstration of what collaboration can achieve in improving healthcare services for our people. We appreciate the Bhagwanji Raja Charitable Foundation and OTPAK for standing with Machakos County,” said Governor Ndeti.

She assured the donors that the county government will ensure the equipment is put to proper use to benefit residents seeking specialized medical care at the facility.

Governor Ndeti further reiterated her administration’s dedication to improving medical infrastructure, equipping health facilities and ensuring that Machakos residents have access to quality and affordable healthcare services.

The installation of the laparoscopic tower machine is expected to greatly strengthen surgical services at Machakos Level V Hospital, positioning the facility as a key referral center capable of handling advanced procedures within the region.
