Kitui County incoming Woman Representative Hon. Fridah Makasi met members of Kituli Welfare in Mutonguni Ward, where she emphasized the importance of economic empowerment as a key pillar of her leadership agenda.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Makasi said her empowerment vision is anchored on the 3Es Economic Empowerment, Education, and Equity aimed at improving livelihoods across Kitui County.
She encouraged members to remain united and focus on projects that uplift their economic well-being, noting that welfare groups play a vital role in community development.
In a major boost to the group, Hon. Makasi supported Kituli Welfare in purchasing land for their activities, a move expected to strengthen their long-term development and income-generating efforts.
