Hon. Fridah Makasi has pledged to spearhead community development initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for residents throughout Kitui County.
She said her agenda includes supporting women and youth groups, promoting environmental conservation, encouraging vocational training, advocating for clean water projects, and partnering with stakeholders to improve social welfare programmes.
Makasi said the Office of the Woman Representative should go beyond legislation by directly impacting communities through practical development initiatives.
She called upon Kitui residents to embrace visionary leadership that prioritizes unity, development, and equal opportunities for all, expressing confidence that together they can build a stronger and more prosperous Kitui County.
