The event was graced by Kitui West incoming Member of Parliament, Hon. Generali Fredrick

Kimanga emphasized that discipline is the foundation of success in all aspects of life, urging young people to remain focused, respectful, and committed to their goals both on and off the pitch.
In a strong show of support for grassroots sports development, the incoming MP donated full sets of uniforms and footballs to all the 14 participating teams, noting that nurturing talent at the local level is key to empowering the youth and keeping them away from negative influences.

The legislator also highlighted the importance of education, stating that it is the only equalizer that places the child of the poor and the child of the rich at the same table. He encouraged parents and guardians to prioritize education as a long-term investment for their children’s future.

Looking ahead to the 2027 General Election, Kimanga urged residents of Manze Itumo and the wider Kitui West Constituency to register as voters and acquire voter cards, calling on them to be ready to make informed decisions when the time comes.
