‎kaki rallies ukambani behind ruto’s 2027 re-election, champions development and grassroots empowerment

Kitui South MP and UDA Kitui County Chairperson Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, has stepped up her call for the people of Ukambani to rally behind President William Ruto’s re-election in 2027, strongly articulating the President’s development agenda and the need for continuity of government programmes.

‎Speaking during the Development and Empowerment of Welfare Groups Programme, Dr. Kaki urged residents to support leadership that prioritises tangible development, economic empowerment and opportunities for ordinary citizens.

Demonstrating her commitment to grassroots empowerment, KSh440,000 was disbursed to welfare groups, while KSh50,000 was extended to Boda Boda operators to support their activities and livelihoods.

‎As the UDA Kitui County Chairperson, Dr. Kaki used the occasion to rally Ukambani residents behind President Ruto’s agenda, maintaining that continued support for the administration would help consolidate ongoing development gains and unlock more opportunities for the region.

She emphasised that the region stands to benefit more by embracing leadership focused on development, empowerment and delivery, rather than politics without tangible results.

The event brought together a strong line-up of leaders, including Kitui East MP Hon. Nimrod Mbai, Senator Beth Syengo, former CS Peninah Malonza, Hon. Martha Mati and Hon. Moses Mbanda, among other leaders.

‎Dr. Kaki’s strong articulation of the President’s agenda further positioned her as a key voice for the UDA administration in Kitui and the wider Ukambani region, as the political landscape begins taking shape ahead of the 2027 General Election.
