The sixth President of the Republic of Kenya, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, has praised Mumoni Ward MCA Titus Kasinga for standing firm in support of the Wiper patriotic front despite being elected as an independent candidate.
Speaking during an event in Kyuso, Kalonzo commended Kasinga for defending truth and remaining loyal to Wiper’s values, saying leadership is defined by conviction rather than party tickets. He described the MCA as courageous and principled for aligning himself with the party’s development agenda.
The event also marked a historic milestone for the community following the official renaming of Kyuso Girls’ Secondary School to Mama Pauline Kalonzo Girls’ Kyuso. The change came after a successful public participation process, with the proposal having been initiated by members of the community.
Kalonzo termed the renaming as a moment of honour and unity, saying it reflected the people’s appreciation and collective voice in shaping local institutions.
