Kimanga Leads County Delegation as Kitui Leaders Mourn Mzee Justus Mulaimu Kithungu

Kitui County Minister for lands housing and urban development Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga joined the family, relatives, and residents of Matinyani Ward to lay to rest the late Mzee Justus Mulaimu Kithungu at Kwa Mukoma grounds in Kitui West.

Kimanga, who is also the incoming Member of Parliament for Kitui West, led a delegation of senior county government officials who attended the burial on behalf of Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe. The delegation included the Minister for Roads and Public Works, Eng. Reuben Itiko, as well as Chief Officers Brettah Mwangangi, Chamia among other county leaders.

While addressing mourners, Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga eulogized the late Mzee Kithungu as a respected community leader who deeply valued development and education. He noted that the deceased had consistently championed progress within the community and encouraged young people to pursue education as a foundation for a better future.

Kimanga further conveyed the Governor’s message of condolence to the bereaved family and reaffirmed the county government’s commitment to transformative development. He disclosed that Governor Dr. Julius Malombe remains focused on implementing tangible projects aimed at uplifting the lives of Kitui residents, revealing that more than 2,400 development projects have already been implemented across all the 47 wards of Kitui County.

“The Governor is fully committed to taking Kitui County to the next level through inclusive and impactful development,” Kimanga told the gathering, adding that the county leadership remains united in its mission to deliver services to the people.

The county government delegation, led by Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, stood with the family of the loate Mzee Justus Mulaimu Kithungu in honoring his legacy, describing him as a man whose contribution to community development will be remembered for generations.
