Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd has strongly dismissed as false, malicious, and misleading reports circulated by a Facebook page identified as Ngoso News, which alleged that one of the Sacco’s vehicles, registration number KDL 299P, had been involved in a road accident.
In a strongly worded statement issued by the Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd Communication Office, the Sacco clarified that the claims are entirely baseless and intended to mislead the public while damaging the institution’s reputation.
The management categorically stated that vehicle KDL 299P is safe, operational, and has not been involved in any accident whatsoever, contrary to the information being circulated online.
Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd condemned what it described as a deliberate and sustained campaign of propaganda targeting the Sacco, accusing Ngoso News of continuously publishing false and defamatory information for selfish interests.
“This is a calculated attempt to tarnish our name, create unnecessary panic among our customers, and mislead the public through falsehoods. The allegations being spread are completely untrue,” read part of the official communication.

Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd further warned that those behind the misinformation appear to be pursuing personal gain through propaganda and malicious reporting, adding that such efforts will not succeed.
Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd has now urged its customers, stakeholders, and the general public to ignore the false reports and rely only on official communication channels for verified information regarding its operations.
The management also signaled that legal action may soon be taken against Ngoso News and any individuals found to be involved in publishing, sharing, or spreading defamatory and misleading content against Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd.
“We reserve the right to take appropriate legal action against anyone found spreading false and defamatory information aimed at damaging our reputation,” the statement added.
This latest incident has sparked concerns over the growing misuse of social media platforms to spread propaganda, misinformation, and fake news targeting institutions and businesses without verification.
Kinatwa Sacco Society Ltd reaffirmed its commitment to serving its customers with integrity, professionalism, and transparency, maintaining that no amount of propaganda will derail its operations or public trust.
