Residents of Kitui South have overwhelmingly declared their support for Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, resolving that she deserves a fourth term as their Member of Parliament following what they described as her exemplary leadership and commitment to development.
The declaration was made during a vibrant women empowerment and public engagement programme held at Mutomo Stadium, where hundreds of women benefited from an economic empowerment initiative spearheaded by UDA leaders.
Addressing the gathering, residents praised Dr. Kaki Nyamai for championing education, infrastructure development, women’s economic empowerment, healthcare and youth programmes across Kitui South Constituency. They noted that her visible development record had earned her the confidence of the electorate, with many declaring that her leadership should continue beyond the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai thanked the people of Kitui South for their unwavering support, saying their trust and unity continue to inspire her commitment to serve. She reaffirmed her dedication to delivering more development projects while working closely with the national government to improve the livelihoods of local residents.
Dr. Kaki also highlighted President William Ruto’s development agenda in the Ukambani region, urging residents to support programmes aimed at improving roads, water access, affordable housing, agriculture, education and economic empowerment.
She said the Kenya Kwanza administration remains committed to ensuring the region receives its fair share of national development through inclusive policies and strategic investments.
The MP called on residents to remain united and embrace government programmes designed to create jobs, empower women and youth, and accelerate socio-economic transformation across Kitui South and the wider Ukambani region.
The empowerment programme brought together UDA leaders, grassroots supporters, women groups and community representatives, who reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the party in Kitui County while backing Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai’s continued leadership.
The event concluded with chants of support for both President William Ruto and Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, as residents expressed confidence in their leadership and pledged to rally behind the MP’s bid for a fourth term.
