Kitui West Residents Rally Behind Change, Endorse Generali Fredrick Kimanga at Katutu and Tulia Markets During Kalonzo’s Komboa Kenya Tour for 2027

A political shift appears to be taking shape in Kitui West Constituency after residents openly declared their support for a new leadership direction during the ongoing Kombo Kenya tour led by Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.

The tour, which has been traversing various parts of the country to engage grassroots supporters, made a significant stop in Kitui West, where the local population turned up in large numbers to air their views on the constituency’s political future. In a rare show of unity and boldness, residents voiced their dissatisfaction with the current leadership and collectively endorsed Fredrick Kimanga as their preferred candidate for the 2027 general elections.

Chanting slogans of change and renewal, the residents declared that the time had come to usher in transformative leadership that would prioritize development, accountability, and service delivery. They expressed confidence in General i Kimanga’s leadership credentials, citing his discipline, integrity, and commitment to public service as key qualities that make him the ideal candidate to represent Kitui West in Parliament.

Speaking during the rally, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka emphasized the importance of listening to the voice of the people, noting that democracy thrives when citizens actively participate in shaping their leadership. He reiterated that the Kombo Kenya tour is aimed at reconnecting with wananchi and understanding their needs ahead of the next electoral cycle.

“The people of Kitui West have spoken clearly. Leadership is not imposed; it is chosen by the people. What we are witnessing here is a democratic expression that cannot be ignored,” Kalonzo stated.

With the backing of the grassroots now becoming increasingly vocal, all eyes will be on how the political dynamics in the constituency continue to unfold.
