Kenya Railways Managing Director Philip Mainga has told off the opposition, declaring that President William Ruto is firmly in charge and is not going anywhere as the country heads towards the 2027 General Election.
Mainga, who has been at the forefront of advancing President Ruto’s agenda in the Ukambani region, urged opposition leaders to accept Ruto as the sitting President and focus on engaging Kenyans through constructive politics.
He has continued to use his grassroots engagements across Ukambani to popularise the Kenya Kwanza government’s development agenda and mobilise support for President Ruto.
“President William Ruto is going nowhere. The opposition must accept that he is the President,” Mainga said, as he urged residents to support the government’s development programmes.
Mainga spoke during the burial ceremony of the late Joyce Mwikali Nyamai at kika village Kiteta Kisau ward mbooni constituency where he was in the company of the former mbooni mp Hon Michael kisoi munyao and the peoples choice for mbooni constituency 2027.
