Kaki Nyamai Reaffirms Education Commitment as She Champions Ikanga Boys’ Upgrade and Joins Athi Residents in Honouring Retired Teacher

Kitui South MP Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, has reaffirmed her commitment to improving education and supporting the people of Kitui South during a series of engagements on Saturday.

Dr. Kaki Nyamai joined family members, relatives and mourners during the burial of the son of prominent Kitui businessman Mr. Syengo, popularly known as “120”, who was recently murdered in Kitui Town. She conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family and urged the community to remain united and support the family during the difficult period.

The MP later attended the Ikanga Boys Senior School AGM, where she pledged to champion the elevation of the institution from a County School to an Extra-County School.

She also committed to the immediate construction of a modern dormitory to address congestion and improve learning conditions for students.
The meeting brought together education officials, the Board of Management, parents, teachers, students and other stakeholders.

Later, Dr. Kaki Nyamai joined residents of Athi Ward during the retirement celebration of Miss Mathenge, where she joined the community in honouring and celebrating her years of dedicated service.

Through the engagements, the MP reaffirmed her commitment to education, community welfare and remaining closely connected to the people of Kitui South.
