Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has commissioned the renovated and fully equipped maternity unit at Mumbuni Dispensary in Migwani Ward, Mwingi West Sub-County, in a move set to improve access to maternal healthcare and promote safe deliveries.
Speaking during the event on Friday, March 27, 2026, Governor Malombe underscored his administration’s commitment to strengthening primary healthcare and bringing essential services closer to residents.
Migwani Ward MCA Harrison Maluki, county executives, and senior officials attended the commissioning, praising the project as a key step in enhancing healthcare services in the area.
