Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has commissioned the KSh 9.9 million Kithyoko–Nguutani Water Pipeline Extension Project, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to expanding access to clean and reliable water across the county.
The project, implemented by the County Government of Kitui and drawing water from the Masinga Water Supply System, serves Nguutani Market and its environs through a communal water point and 30 individual connections.
Governor Malombe said the project will bring water closer to residents and businesses while supporting improved livelihoods and economic activity in the area.
Deputy Governor Augustine Kanani, area MCA Hon. Stephen Katana and other leaders attended the commissioning.
