Mumoni MCA Hon. Titus Kasinga Commends Governor Malombe for Transformative Projects in Mumoni Ward

Titus Kasinga has applauded Julius Malombe for touring Mumoni Ward and commissioning key development projects aimed at improving the lives of residents.

Kasinga praised the Governor’s commitment to grassroots development, noting that it is not common for a county boss to personally tour a ward and commission projects.

Among the major projects launched was the Kyoea–Mwingi Pipeline Extension to Kalatine, a Ksh. 10.86 million water project expected to benefit more than 100 households and several institutions, including schools and Kalatine Dispensary.

Governor Malombe also commissioned the renovated and operational Kaliwa Dispensary, which is set to improve healthcare access for more than 800 residents in the area.

The Governor further launched the Katse–Nguuku Sumpwell Water Supply Project, a Ksh. 19.6 million solar-powered water project under the FLoCCA programme, boosting water access for schools and the surrounding community.

Kasinga noted that more than 106 development projects have been implemented across Mumoni Ward, reflecting significant progress in water, health, and infrastructure.

He also urged the national government and Parliament to fast-track the release of Kenya Roads Board funds to support road maintenance and improve connectivity in the ward.

During the tour H.E the governor acknowledged the challenging road infrastructure in the ward due to the mountainous terrain & promised more attention to the sector.This was after hon.Kasinga appealed to the governor to consider more funding to the wards roads.

H.E governor Malombe commended hon.Kasinga for his foresight in leadership & praised him for working close with his govrernment.
