Kitui South MP and Chairperson of Kitui UDA Leaders, Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, has led a delegation of Kitui UDA leaders in an economic empowerment and public engagement programme in Kitui Central.
Dr. Nyamai used the forum to articulate President William Ruto’s development agenda, highlighting ongoing national government investments and initiatives transforming Kitui and the wider Ukambani region. She urged residents to embrace economic empowerment programmes and take advantage of opportunities created through the Government’s development agenda.
Among the leaders present were Kitui East MP Hon. Nimrod Mbai, Commissioner Ben Muasya, former Cabinet Secretary Penninah Malonza, among other UDA leaders and local stakeholders.
Dr. Nyamai reaffirmed the commitment of Kitui UDA leaders to working together to champion development, economic empowerment and the interests of the people, while ensuring that the region remains firmly connected to the national development agenda.
She emphasized that the people of Kitui and Ukambani should measure leadership through tangible development, economic opportunities and improved livelihoods, rather than political rhetoric.
