The people of Kitui West have strongly declared their unwavering support for Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, whom they described as a God-chosen leader dedicated to the service, development, and empowerment of his people. The residents vowed to reward him come 2027, citing his unmatched commitment to education, development, and grassroots leadership.
Today, Generali Fredrick Kimanga joined Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe and other county officials at Kabati Parish to celebrate the wedding of Faith and Sam. The colorful event was attended by county ministers, government officials, and residents who lauded the unity and spirit of leadership shown by Waziri Kimanga.
Later, Waziri Kimanga visited Kwa Kitisya in Kwa Mutonga, Kithumula Ward, where he joined the family of Dominic Mutua and Shadrack Savali in a fundraiser to support their continued education at Matinyani Secondary School. The two students had been out of school due to financial constraints.
Moved by their story, Waziri Kimanga paid full third-term fees for Shadrack Savali, a Form Four student, enabling him to continue with his studies uninterrupted. Their father, Mwanzia Wambua, expressed deep gratitude for the timely intervention, saying his children had been home for months due to lack of school fees.
“It is only education that can level the ground between the children of the rich and the poor,” said Waziri Kimanga during his address. “I am who I am today because of education, and I will continue to stand for it and support it fully.”
Benedict W. Mbatha, the grandfather of the two boys, also gave thanks, applauding Kimanga’s compassion and consistent efforts in uplifting the education standards of vulnerable families in Kitui West.
To cap off the day, Waziri Kimanga joined the family of late Bernard Nyamai Mumami to celebrate Raphael Muasa Nyamai, who recently completed his priesthood training at St. Mathias Mulumba in Kapsabet, Bomet. The celebration marked another moment of unity and recognition of spiritual milestones in the region.
As the day came to a close, the message from the people of Kitui West was clear: they stand firmly behind Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga. They praised him as a servant leader who walks with his people, understands their struggles, and places education and development at the center of his agenda.
“We are fully behind him,” said one resident. “He is our leader, chosen by God, and we will reward him in 2027.”
