Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga Leads Condolence Drive, Supports Bereaved Family in Kitui West

Incoming Kitui West Member of Parliament for the 2027 General Election, Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, has stood with the family of Mauta following the tragic death of their son, who lost his life in a building collapse in Ngong’u area, Nairobi.

The deceased was among three people who died after a building under construction collapsed, an incident that shocked residents and relatives back home in Kitui West.

Kimanga joined family members, friends, and local residents at Kiukuni–Musengo location in Mutonguni Ward during a fundraising drive aimed at mobilizing resources to support burial preparations ahead of the funeral scheduled for this coming Friday at the family’s rural home in Musengo, Mutonguni Ward.

Speaking during the fundraiser, Kimanga conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, describing the loss as devastating not only to the immediate family but also to the wider Kitui West community.
“This is a painful loss. The passing of a young life under such circumstances affects us all as a community,” Kimanga said.

He emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility during moments of grief, urging residents and well-wishers to continue offering both moral and material support to the family.

“As a community, we must always stand together, especially in times of sorrow. It is through such unity that we find strength and hope,” he noted.
The incoming legislator used the occasion to reaffirm his people-centered leadership approach, stating that his engagement with the community goes beyond politics and is anchored on genuine service, empathy, and solidarity with the people of Kitui West.

Residents who attended the fundraiser praised Kimanga for his consistent presence in community affairs, saying his involvement in social and humanitarian matters reflects the kind of leadership the constituency needs going forward.
The burial of the deceased is expected to take place on Friday at the family’s rural home in Musengo, Mutonguni Ward.
