“Do whatever you want, I will not be silenced,” Senator Kiio Wambua tells sand Barron Peter Kalungu

Kitui County Senator Enock Kiio Wambua has vowed not to be intimidated or silenced in his efforts to protect Kitui’s rivers and environment.

Speaking out against what he described as threats and environmental destruction, Wambua said he has been threatened several times and believes his life is in danger, but maintained that he will continue speaking out.

“You and your friends can do whatever you want. I fear nothing. Whatever you are planning, go ahead. I will not remain silent while you destroy Kitui County’s rivers and environment,” Wambua said.

The Senator said he would remain firm in defending Kitui’s natural resources, despite what he described as attempts to intimidate him.
