The governor noted that the rehabilitation of the water scheme reflects his administration’s promise to ensure that every resident of Kitui County has access to dependable water services.
Local residents welcomed the project, saying it will transform daily life in the area by ensuring consistent access to clean and safe water, while also reducing the time spent fetching water.
The commissioning of the project underscores the county government’s continued push under Governor Malombe’s leadership to strengthen water infrastructure and improve the quality of life for communities across Kitui County.
