Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, party leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front, on Tuesday led a strong legal team at the Kibera Law Courts in defense of Raphael Tuju.
Accompanied by Eugene Wamalwa, Dan Maanzo, and lawyer Ndegwa Njiru, Kalonzo argued that Tuju’s rights under Articles 49 and 25 of the Constitution had been violated, citing delayed medical attention and lack of proper charges.
The court directed that Tuju be accorded full medical care, with the matter set for ruling tomorrow.
Kalonzo’s firm stance on constitutional rights continues to boost his profile nationally, with supporters increasingly viewing him as Kenya’s likely sixth President.
