Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai Leads UDA Leaders in Women Empowerment and Public Engagement Forum in Kitui West.

Kitui South Member of Parliament and Chairperson of UDA Leaders in Kitui County, Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, today led UDA leaders during a Women Empowerment and Public Engagement Forum held at Katutu Primary School in Kauwi Ward, Kitui West Constituency.

The event brought together thousands of women, youth, opinion leaders, and residents to discuss development, economic empowerment, and the Kenya Kwanza administration’s development agenda. The forum was attended by several senior leaders, including Hon. Nimrod Mbai, Principal Secretary Jonathan Mueke, Hon. Peninah Malonza, among other UDA leaders. The event was hosted by Hon. Ben Muasya, who welcomed the leaders and residents and called for continued unity and support for the government’s development programmes.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Kaki emphasized the importance of women empowerment, public participation, and inclusive leadership in driving sustainable development. She highlighted the numerous development projects undertaken by President William Ruto across the country, citing investments in roads, water, education, healthcare, electricity, and economic empowerment programmes that are improving the livelihoods of Kenyans.

Dr. Kaki noted that President Ruto remains committed to delivering even more development projects in the Ukambani region, urging residents to continue supporting the government’s agenda to accelerate socio-economic transformation.

Speaking in her capacity as the Chairperson of UDA Leaders in Kitui County, Dr. Kaki reaffirmed the party’s commitment to engaging wananchi, listening to their priorities, and ensuring communities benefit from national government programmes. She also encouraged women to embrace empowerment initiatives and take an active role in leadership and development.

The leaders present echoed Dr. Kaki’s message of unity and development, calling on residents to work closely with the government in advancing projects that will improve livelihoods and foster inclusive growth across Kitui County and the wider Ukambani region.

The forum concluded with the empowerment of women and renewed calls for unity, collaboration, and sustained public engagement as the government continues implementing its development agenda.
