During the State of the County address at the County Assembly chambers, Governor Wavinya Ndeti revealed that significant resources had been committed to enhance the intake at Masinga Dam.
Governor Ndeti stated that through sustainable engagement with both the national government and the Kitui County Government, the Ministry of Water had pledged support via the Tanathi Water Service Board. The initiative aimed to strengthen water infrastructure and ensure improved water supply for the region.
The governor emphasized that this partnership reflected ongoing efforts to address water scarcity challenges and promote sustainable resource management in the county.
