The facility is expected to offer essential outpatient services, maternal and child healthcare, immunization, and basic laboratory services, significantly enhancing service delivery within the ward.
In further efforts to bolster healthcare services across the county, the County Executive Committee Member for Health and Sanitation, Ruth Koki, announced that the county government is in the process of installing theatre equipment at Kauwi Level IV Hospital. The move is ai
med at expanding surgical services and reducing referrals to distant facilities.
The commissioning of Kilimu Dispensary reflects Governor Malombe’s continued focus on revitalizing stalled projects and investing in critical sectors that directly impact the lives of Kitui residents. As the county advances its healthcare transformation agenda, local communities are poised to benefit from improved access to reliable and efficient medical services.
