Kimanga Stands with Bereaved Families in Kitui West, Calls for Unity and Compassion

Kitui West aspiring Member of Parliament for 2027, Waziri Generali Fredrick Kimanga, on Sunday evening joined two grieving families in Kithumula Ward as he continued to demonstrate solidarity with residents during moments of loss and hardship.

Kimanga first visited the family of King’ola at Junction, Kwa Mutonga, where he condoled with them following the passing of Geoffrey Nzioka. The late Nzioka was a respected headteacher at Kalimani Primary School, remembered for his dedication to education and his impactful service to the community. Kimanga described his death as a great loss not only to the family but also to the education sector in the region.

“Geoffrey Nzioka was a pillar in shaping the future of our children through education. His commitment and service will remain a lasting legacy in Kitui West,” Kimanga said.

To wrap up the day, the aspiring MP joined the family of Musembi to mourn the loss of their son, Cosmas Mutinda, who was also a brother to Fr. Anthony Musembi of Mutuni Parish. During the visit, Kimanga participated in a harambee aimed at supporting funeral arrangements, urging members of the community to come together and support bereaved families in their time of need.

He emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility, noting that standing with one another during difficult times strengthens the social fabric of the community.

“As a people, we must always stand together, especially in moments of grief. It is through such unity that we find strength and hope,” he added.
Kimanga’s continued presence in community events and his support for local families underline his growing connection with the people of Kitui West as he positions himself for the 2027 parliamentary race.
