Former Mbooni MP and incoming parliamentary hopeful Michael Kisoi Munyao has strengthened his bid for the Mbooni parliamentary seat after meeting Kalawa professionals to discuss a shared development agenda centred on infrastructure, water, education, healthcare, security, and youth empowerment.
Kisoi highlighted his development record, citing the establishment of Kalawa Teachers Training College, investments in dams and boreholes, construction of health dispensaries, and expansion of electricity through the Last Mile Connectivity Programme.
He also welcomed President William Ruto’s announcement that KSh10.6 billion has been allocated for the completion of Thwake Dam, alongside commitments to construct the modern Kalawa Market, Kwa Ngewa Bridge, and the Ngunini Earth Dam.
The professionals praised Kisoi’s development-oriented leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to working with him to accelerate progress in Mbooni.
The forum was attended by Kenya Railways Managing Director Philip Mainga, Dr. Martin Mboloi, and Kiteta/Kisau MCA Hon. Darius Mainga.
