Kitui South Member of Parliament Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, on Sunday led a high-profile delegation of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leaders during a successful harambee at GNCA Kyatune Church in Kitui South Constituency, where faithful gathered to raise funds towards the completion of the church project.
The event was graced by Elijah Kilei, who represented President William Ruto, reaffirming the Kenya Kwanza administration’s commitment to partnering with faith-based institutions in advancing community development and promoting moral values.
In a remarkable show of unity and generosity, Hon. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, Elijah Kilei and other UDA leaders collectively contributed KSh 3.4 million towards the completion of the church, a donation that was warmly received by the congregation and church leadership.
Speaking during the fundraiser, Hon. Nyamai emphasized the vital role churches play in nurturing strong families, promoting peace, and fostering social cohesion. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift the spiritual and socio-economic wellbeing of the people of Kitui South.
