A mother from kitui county Kanziku, Mutomo Sub-County, Kitui County, is appealing to well-wishers and Kenyans to help raise KSh2.6 million needed to take her 17-month-old son to India for specialised treatment after he was diagnosed with a heart condition.
Monica Musenya Rebecca says her son, Joshua Peter, has been battling the condition at just one year and five months of age, leaving the family struggling to meet the high cost of treatment.
According to Monica, doctors have recommended specialised medical care in India, but the required KSh2.6 million is beyond what the family can afford.
She is now appealing to individuals, organisations, leaders and other people of goodwill to come to the family’s aid and help save her son’s life.
“I am appealing to Kenyans and people of goodwill to help me raise KSh2.6 million so that my son can receive the treatment he needs in India,” Monica said.
The family is calling on anyone willing and able to contribute to help Joshua access the specialised treatment before his condition worsens.
Every contribution, no matter how small, could make a difference in Joshua’s journey towards recovery.
