TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya has launched the New Generation TotalEnergies Card, transforming its 25-year-old fuel-card service into a digital mobility and payment platform for businesses, fleet managers and motorists.
Launched on 10 September 2026, the new card introduces cardless payment options through a mobile app and virtual card via OTP, alongside real-time transaction alerts, an advanced customer portal, pump pre-authorisation controls, PIN and RFID security features, and simplified tax-compliant invoicing.
TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya Managing Director Thibault Flichy said the solution will give businesses greater visibility and control over fuel expenditure at a time when companies are seeking ways to manage rising operating costs and protect profitability.
The card is accepted across TotalEnergies’ nationwide station network, with tailored access for matatu and boda boda operators, who can apply at any TotalEnergies station. Businesses and individual motorists can also apply through the company’s website.
