Political temperatures are rising in Kaiti Constituency as Alex Musomba, former personal assistant to sitting MP Hon. Joshua Kimilu, emerges as a potential challenger ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Musomba is gaining attention among residents who say they want to elect a leader based on experience and ability, rather than simply following a political party.
His experience working closely with Kimilu has given him an understanding of constituency leadership and the challenges facing Kaiti residents.
The emerging support for Musomba is already creating a new political dynamic, with the former aide now positioning himself to challenge his former boss for the parliamentary seat.
With the political ground in Kaiti reportedly shifting, Kimilu could be facing an increasingly competitive battle as Musomba seeks to turn his grassroots appeal and experience into an electoral victory.
