Pressure Mounts on Mbooni Hon. MP Kivasu as former mp Hon. Kisoi munyao Vows No Retreat Over Public Funds and Stalled Projects

Political pressure is rapidly intensifying on Mbooni Constituency MP Hon. Erustus Kivasu Nzioka following a renewed onslaught by former MP Hon. Kisoi Munyao, who has vowed not to relent until every shilling of taxpayers’ money meant for Mbooni residents is fully accounted for.

In a hard-hitting stance that signals an escalation of the political war in the constituency, Kisoi accused the current MP of failing to provide clear accountability on development funds, warning that the era of silence and excuses was over. He maintained that Mbooni residents deserve answers, not public relations, over stalled and neglected projects that continue to inconvenience wananchi.
Kisoi revealed that he has formally petitioned the President through the Office of the Deputy President and the Cabinet Secretary for Roads, escalating the matter to the highest levels of government. The petition, he said, was facilitated with the involvement of MD Mainga and seeks urgent intervention over a long-standing bridge project that has remained unresolved despite allocations made for it.

According to the former legislator, plans are now at an advanced stage to dispatch a high-powered delegation comprising Hon. Dennis and Hon. Kalii to the affected area to establish facts on the ground and chart a permanent solution to the bridge crisis. He noted that the move was meant to cut through political rhetoric and deliver tangible results for residents who have waited for years.

Kisoi further indicated that the delegation will not limit itself to the bridge issue alone, adding that other critical development agendas, particularly those touching on Kalawa, will be discussed comprehensively. He said the focus would be on reviving stalled projects and ensuring future allocations translate into visible development.
The latest developments pile more pressure on MP Kivasu, who is increasingly coming under scrutiny from political rivals and local leaders over what they term as poor accountability and slow development delivery.

As the matter now shifts to national offices, the spotlight on the Mbooni MP is expected to grow even harsher, with residents keenly watching whether the mounting pressure will finally yield answers or expose deeper cracks in his leadership.

Hon. Kivasu has not yet came out to respond to the matter ,where no the big question is .

“Does his silence confirm that the allegations are true?”.
