The South Eastern Farmers and Business Community Convention has gained momentum ahead of the exhibition set for 18th–20th March at Kitui Stadium in Kitui County.
Speaking during a meeting convened by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) on 18th March, the Director of Trade kitui county, Mr. Mwaniki, urged SMEs to take advantage of the forum to showcase their products and expand market opportunities.
The convention brings together the SEKEB counties of Kitui County, Makueni County, and Machakos County a region renowned for fruit farming and other farm products that enhance the regions economy.
Organizers say exhibitors are fully prepared for the big day and have called on the business community and the public to turn out in large numbers for the exhibitions.
