Ben Muasya on Sunday, 19th May 2026, hosted a high-profile church fundraiser at St. Martin’s Catholic Church Kwa Mutonga Parish in Kwa Mutonga Kithumula Ward, Kitui West, bringing together national and county leaders in support of the completion of the church construction and other development projects within the parish.
The colourful fundraising event attracted prominent political leaders and dignitaries from across the country, led by the chief guest Oscar Sudi and the Majority Leader of the National Assembly Kimani Ichung’wah. Also in attendance were Charles Nguna, Philip Mainga, alongside several county and local leaders.
The fundraiser was organized to mobilize resources towards the completion of the church building and support other church-related projects aimed at strengthening worship and community development in the area.
Speaking during the event, leaders showered praise on Commissioner Ben Muasya for his commitment to both development and community service. Kimani Ichung’wa described Muasya as a leader whose influence goes beyond public office, saying he has consistently demonstrated dedication to the people and support for community-driven initiatives.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi equally applauded Commissioner Muasya, terming him “more than a leader” due to his humility, generosity, and commitment to uplifting communities through both religious and development initiatives.
The leaders noted that Muasya’s ability to unite leaders from different regions and political backgrounds for a noble cause reflected his growing influence and respect across the country.
Residents and church faithful who attended the event expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support shown by the leaders, saying the fundraiser would greatly accelerate the completion of the church and improve facilities for worshippers.
