Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has moved to address differences with a section of Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) over the utilisation of development funds in the 2026/2027 financial year.
Governor Ndeti dismissed claims that Machakos was being denied the opportunity to utilise 50 percent of the allocated development funds to address residents’ needs, terming the allegations misleading.
Speaking at her office, Ndeti said she is ready to hold a special meeting with the MCAs to resolve the concerns and strengthen cooperation between the County Executive and Assembly.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with the MCAs to ensure effective service delivery and address challenges affecting the County Assembly and residents of Machakos.
