Governor Malombe Strengthens Healthcare with Commissioning of Kyanika Dispensary in Mwingi Central.

Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe today commissioned the newly constructed and fully equipped Kyanika Dispensary in Kivou Ward, Mwingi Central Sub-County, marking another significant milestone in his administration’s commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare services across the county. The modern health facility, built and equipped by the County Government of Kitui, is expected to transform healthcare delivery in Kyanika and its surrounding communities by bringing essential medical services closer to residents who previously had to travel long distances to seek treatment.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Governor Malombe reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to strengthening the county’s healthcare system through continued investment in modern health infrastructure, medical equipment, and accessible primary healthcare services. He noted that improving the health and well-being of Kitui residents remains one of the key pillars of his development agenda.

The Governor emphasized that the completion of Kyanika Dispensary reflects his government’s resolve to ensure every resident, regardless of their location, has access to affordable and quality healthcare. He added that expanding healthcare facilities across the county will contribute to better health outcomes while reducing the burden on existing hospitals.

Kivou Ward MCA Sammy Munyithya lauded Governor Malombe and the County Government for prioritising healthcare development, noting that the new dispensary will significantly improve service delivery by providing residents with timely and reliable medical care within their locality.

The commissioning of Kyanika Dispensary adds to the growing number of health projects being implemented under Governor Malombe’s administration, reinforcing his commitment to building a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Kitui County through sustained investment in public health infrastructure.ENDS///…
