“False Claims Exposed: Kiio Says No Aspirant Has Secured Wiper Gubernatorial Ticket”

Kitui County Senator Enock Kiio has urged residents of Kitui County to ignore claims by individuals alleging that they have already secured the Wiper Patriotic Front ticket for the 2027 gubernatorial race.

Speaking during media engagement, Senator Kiio emphasized that the party has not yet issued its gubernatorial nomination ticket to any aspirant, cautioning residents against being misled by premature political declarations.

He said that the Wiper Patriotic Front has established procedures for identifying and nominating its candidates, adding that all interested aspirants will have an equal opportunity to compete when the party officially opens the nomination process.

The senator called on Kitui residents to remain patient and allow the party to follow its constitutional and democratic processes, noting that no individual should claim to have been awarded the party’s ticket before the official nominations are conducted.

Kiio further urged leaders to focus on serving the people and addressing development issues instead of engaging in propaganda and misinformation. He appealed to supporters of all aspirants to maintain peace and unity as the county prepares for the next electoral cycle.

He reiterated that the people of Kitui should seek accurate information from official party communication channels and avoid being influenced by unverified political claims.
