‘Mwana ni Mwana’ Campaign by Akamba FM Brings Hope to Needy Children

A humanitarian campaign spearheaded by Akamba FM known as “Mwana ni Mwana” continues to bring hope and relief to needy children and orphans across different parts of the region through the support of well-wishers and community partners.

The campaign focuses on mobilizing resources to support vulnerable children by providing essential items that help improve their living conditions and restore dignity to disadvantaged families.

During a recent outreach in Mutomo, the campaign team distributed wheelchairs and walking sticks to children living with disabilities. The assistive devices are expected to significantly improve mobility and ease the daily struggles faced by the beneficiaries.

The team also visited Mulango Children’s Home, where they donated food supplies and clothing to support the children under the care of the institution. The gesture brought smiles and renewed hope to the children and caregivers.

The visit attracted several leaders and well-wishers who came together to support the noble initiative. Among those present were Hon. Joshua Kimilu, one of the strongest supporters of the campaign, representatives from Parkside Villa, Nicholas Mulila of Safaricom, and Hon. Irene Kasalu the kitui county women rep.

The campaign also received support from international partners including Miami Echos and Ladies of Substance from UK, who joined other well-wishers in supporting the initiative aimed at uplifting vulnerable children.

The “Mwana ni Mwana” campaign is organized by Angelica Ndinda head of sales and marketing Akamba fm, together with Mukamba Mjanja and Alphonse kanyili a.k.a Isunzuma who have been instrumental in mobilizing resources and coordinating the campaign activities.

The organizers have encouraged more individuals and organizations to support the initiative, noting that collective goodwill and compassion remain key in ensuring that vulnerable children receive the care and support they  deserve.
