Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai Steers Kenya Kwanza Agenda in Kitui Through Women Empowerment and Public Engagement.

Kitui South Member of Parliament Hon. Dr. Rachael Kaki Nyamai, CBS, has continued to distinguish herself as the Chairperson of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance in Kitui County, leading the coalition’s leadership team effectively through sustained women empowerment programmes and public engagement forums across the county.

As the county chairperson, Dr. Nyamai has successfully coordinated Kenya Kwanza leaders in championing the government’s development agenda while strengthening grassroots support through regular engagements with residents. Her leadership has seen the coalition intensify its outreach programmes, particularly those aimed at empowering women economically and promoting inclusive development.

Through the women empowerment initiatives, thousands of women have benefited from government-backed programmes designed to improve household incomes, promote entrepreneurship, and enhance financial independence. The forums have also provided an opportunity for wananchi to engage directly with leaders on matters affecting their communities.

During the engagements, Dr. Nyamai has consistently highlighted the transformative development agenda of President William Ruto, outlining key achievements in infrastructure, affordable housing, universal health coverage through the Social Health Authority (SHA), education, agriculture, water, electricity connectivity, and youth and women empowerment.

She has further championed President Ruto’s vision for the Ukambani region, urging residents to embrace government programmes that seek to accelerate economic growth, create employment opportunities, and improve the quality of life. She reaffirmed that the Kenya Kwanza administration remains committed to ensuring that the region receives its fair share of national development projects.

Dr. Nyamai reiterated her commitment, as the Kenya Kwanza Chairperson in Kitui County, to continue uniting the coalition’s leadership, strengthening public engagement, and ensuring that government programmes reach every corner of the county. She also called upon women, youth, and community leaders to actively participate in empowerment initiatives as a pathway to sustainable development.

Her leadership has continued to position her as one of the most influential Kenya Kwanza leaders in Kitui County, playing a central role in advancing the government’s development agenda while championing President Ruto’s vision for the people of Ukambani.
